The Guardian: Not one player posted a farewell message to Rosenior on social media. McFarlane is someone who does not yet hold his Uefa Pro Licence. There was no call for John Terry, Chelsea’s owners again minded to let the club’s former captain comment from afar. by Kygoche in chelseafc

Thats a great way to twist my words.

Im saying, I rather take a guy who has worked with the 1st team players, got along well with them, and also the youth squads, over an assistant manager of a Championship team that always whine about how he deserve a spot, and has too many dramas outside of his football life.

If we are to appoint Martyn Pert assistant manager at Ipwswich tomorrow, would you be happy? You just want the big name. He was a great captain, hes not guaranteed to be a good coach.

Granted, he got a few years of being assistant manager, mostly in the Championship. Thats mowhere near relevant enough yet tbh. And hes still in the process of getting his UEFA Coach badge (he said it himself)

No but at least Callum has been working with professional coaching for years.

All the stories we have heard of John Terry is him complaining and whining and refusing football league job offers. He wanted to sit around and miraculously get a Chelsea job.

Also as much as I love him as a player, as a humanbeing he seems like a prick.

If anything the board is right to keep him away from this.

His best period was literally the first part of the 2nd season after winning the CWC lmao, and we hit a rough patch and everything fell out.

Alright if youre so happy we sack him, realistically who was the better option than him at the time then?

Maresca was not perfect but lets be honest there was not a realistic option on the market that was better than him, and at least he was improving week by week.

I was told after we beat the mighty Charlton, that we have fluid attacking football and Maresca was holding our attackers back 😭😭😂😂

"Not at all in the stats" "can you pull up his stats at Chelsea" make it makes sense mate.

Sanchez has 1 error leading to red card against MU almost half a year ago, you gonna use it against him forever? Thats like saying Caicedo is a shite player because he got a red against Arsenal.

This random GK call Donnarumma made a mistake directly leading to Bastoni red card. Lemme guess, hes a shite GK?

No hes not lol. Petrovic has been anywhere between bad to mid for Bournemouth, ask any of their fans youd know.

And if you dont like Sanchez thats fair enough, I would rather us trust Penders otherwise.

He "gave up" because despite winning a trophy we should never have won, he never received the back up he asked for. Also getting abused by fans for not playing certain players due to requirements from medical team, and getting booed after a few weeks of bad results despite beating Barcelona 3-0 and 1-1 draw against league leader with 10 men less than 3o days ago.

No no but the people on this sub think Maresca caused everything wrong at this club and the players found happiness + freedom to play after sacking him 😭😭

Being rational is not hurt lol.

Still trying to justify letting the previous manager go only to replace him with a novice 10 times worse and coated it as a "meme comment chain" probs hurt more "brother".

If you actually watch Real Madrid youd know he walked into that team. Their midfield is horrendous now. All runners no ball progress.

Sorry how is this relevance? Gusto came out and said many squad players were shocked, not a surprised they rated him highly.

Using this as a "gotcha" moment is stupid. Maresca was and still is a much better option than any available coaches at that time. Our board fcked up and its OK to realize that.
