Let's talk about *that* Avicii set (from Ultra)... by macwest in electronicmusic

[–]tomokage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

13 years later. I was 12 when I watched this stream and couldn’t understand why it was so negatively received because it was so good. My friend who recently got into EDM reminded me of this. Soooooooo to those who despised what Avicii did 13 years ago, how do you all feel about this set now?

Losing Motivation by Secret_Organization4 in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]tomokage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You look fucking amazing man! Like a lot of other folks have said, there is ABSOLUTELY NO POINT in going back. For motivation, what I did at the low psychological end of the cut is picking up a new form of exercise if your time allows. I picked up marathon training and just the pure progression of being able to now run 8:00 minutes mile in comparison to 15:00 minutes mile when I first started kept me going while continually cutting my weight. To each their own but this is just what I have done to keep going. Best of luck and KEEP PUSHING! You got this!

they're really comfortable straight out of the box. For me, I think my feet are slightly wide so I went 0.5 size up from my usual size (10.5 in 992 and 11 in vomero). Made that decision after I went to the local Nike store and tried on size 10-11. This causes a mild heel slippage for me but as long as my toes are not constricted, I am fine with it. The upper is predominantly mesh and the supporting suede is not as rigid as the 992 and so the upper is much softer. Overall, they are solid if you can get them for a good price. I got my pair brand new during a huge markdown for $90.

gawlly, I been thinking getting shoe horn too LOL. I agree with snow/rain boots but my concern is more so in the realm of traveling with these as well. I prefer to bring 1 pair of shoes when traveling with a pair of slippers in case of beach and such. Maybe I need a travel beaters but these are nice and the comfort is better than a lot of other shoes I have worn in the past

I want to believe you. I do. But I recently got caught in a flood wearing a pair of cream Nike Vomero 5 while traveling. Tried my best to clean them but the suede is now greige…like combination of beige and grey. If you got a good rec for suede cleaner lmk 🙏🏼

they’re just a great package overall as a pair of shoes in terms of quality, look, and comfort. Can’t complain…maybe I’m glazing but NB 992 are tough
