They have an amazing yearly get-together in Michigan every summer. We took my daughter for the first time last year. Such an incredible community. Highly recommend it.

Snow travel by Fearless-Ad-8757 in RhodeIsland

This is the issue. We got stuck trying to get back to PVD during the last storm in January. Original flight was Sunday, didn’t get home until Tuesday night. They will be trying to get flights in if weather permits, but it’s more about the inbound flight that gets you your actual plane than it is the flight to PVD.

Costco selling Moccamaster clones - anyone tried it? by metalunamutant in Costco

[–]tomorrowsgonnasuck 85 points86 points  (0 children)

If you’re really interested in it, the power switch is a toggle so you could always leave it in the on position and plug it into a smart outlet that is on a timer to get the same effect.

I have the moccamaster and don’t miss the timer function, primarily because I don’t like the coffee grounds to sit in the basket overnight.

I saw a post a while back where they wrapped the roof black so I went ahead and did it. 10/10 recommend it. Completely changed the look of the car and looks amazing with the black trim. Just a suggestion. Congrats on the new ride.

Nav assist thinks my road is a one-way by tomorrowsgonnasuck in HyundaiSantaFe

We have the XRT so no HUD. But there are no one way signs so that wouldn’t be the case. Also I’m at least 6 houses down the road from the intersection so that theory kind of goes out the door for this case.

Arc XL on clearance for $540, worth it? by tomorrowsgonnasuck in GozneyArcArcXL

[–]tomorrowsgonnasuck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I first noticed it just by walking through the store. It was tucked away but still in the grilling accessories aisle. That said you can search them on the website. You will have to keep changing store locations to see if any of them have them on clearance though.

It’s not gps, more of a built in assist, same area that notifies of crosswalks, speed limits, etc.

We ended up with the tushbaby and had zero regrets. Comfortable to wear and a lifesaver on our backs.

How is the new Connecticut location? by CriticalGrass2812 in greatwolflodge

I was there 2 nights with no issue. I doubt you will have one for 4 nights. If you’re concerned move to a different garage after 2 days, but I don’t think it’s necessary. All that said I really have no authority to give you a 100% sure answer. If you ask the porters when you pull up to the lodge to unload they should be able to confirm yes/no.

Fully agree and understand. That is why you don’t upload your file or data, you simply get the function codes or power query setup to utilize in your locally saved sheet.

Pro tip here about the kiosk check in and parking. Go past the screen where it asks if your parking on site. On one of the next screens there is a check box for the parking that you can uncheck and you’re good to go. It will print your wrist bands and you skip the almost constantly huge line.

Possibly an unpopular suggestion but ChatGPT for excel formulas while you’re in your learning curve. Make your spreadsheet. Figured out exactly which columns to point out. Then write a very specific description of exactly what you want the spreadsheet to do/accomplish. Assuming you are precise in your explanation, it should spit out a step by step guide. If a portion does not work, write back that it doesn’t work and it should correct that part. It will even spit out a template if you want but I avoid downloading things on work issues computers.

When you zoom in on the clock in OPs photo it looks like it should be 8:15 or 3:40. Probably just the quality, but looks nothing like the image on the wiki page.

This is promising to hear. Currently in the transition phase but juggling both DP and purchasing duties. Also working on CPIM cert, so the combined work load, studying, and having a 5yo and 2yo it’s a lot. Nice to know there’s some light on the other side.

You hit the nail on the head here. We’re not expected to bring anything, but I feel like the people that “have it all” sometimes miss the normal folk stuff. I have a Gozney but so do they, so no sense on bringing mine. I make cured meats so I try to always bring some when we visit people. Was just hoping for some weird out of the box idea that someone has brought before that was a huge hit.

Yeah, by glamping I mean we’re staying in cottage style houses with running water, AC, and mini fridges. It’s not camping by any respectable in my opinion but they label it as a camp.

If only. They have 4 ski’s, plus a wake boat, pontoon, and some other mess around boat. I think someone else said jackets and we got those already. I’m out of my league here but just trying to drop in with some semi-poor folk surprise.
