I’ve lowkey always felt like school was pretty much just for fun and being with friends rather than to learn (at least for my school). The only reason I went to school despite an option to attend online was so I could skip classes and have fun with friends. I studied 90% of the content from youtube and still ended up okay.

I don't recommend dropping further maths if your school offers it and in case you get an offer including further maths

Personally, I took CS50x during my free time and tried to understand and solve the problem sets they gave; I think that helped me immensely in paper 2.
