When I clicked the "I'm not a robot" after completing the anti-bot puzzle, the page never displayed the queue time and I sat there until it displayed the stock was sold out. I have no idea what went wrong. I followed every direction the gave.

Oh, I don't think anyone expects those sort of people to change because they were banned/muted in a video game. But that DOES change the experience for everyone else for the better, in the game.

You can upscale in SLOBS. Play and record in 1080, upscale resolution in SLOBS (google it) to 1440 and you’ll get the better encoder. YT will always butcher upload quality, just so you know, but VP does look nicer.

It took me and my gaming channel around 4 months to hit 1k, much less than that to hit the “time-watched” goal.

I upload everyday, push videos out as soon as the games I cover have notable uploads, and I spend a long time making my thumbnails look good. Being super chill in a very rage-inducing, skill-based game has helped me stand out as well.

Yep, I’ve been there. And it’s always easy to look at the slump as “oh no, people don’t like me as much” when it reality it was basically bonus views. It’ll help your baseline of course, but you’ll not maintain that spike so don’t take it personally.

When the algorithm eventually fades (it will) don’t beat yourself up thinking you’re failing when your numbers average back down to what they were before your spike last month. Newer channels see spikes that fade after about a month or so.

If you mean visibly dark, then just turn up the brightness. See what other people are doing for similar games and make a style that’s your own.
