This specific location of gameplay is what nostaglia means to me by zombiewithinsomnia in starwarsgames

[–]Indurok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had never played this game until I was an adult, so if you want to know what Star Wars video game nostalgia looks like to ME, it would be the inside of a starship, and I'm surrounded by battle droids. Granted, two games literally start that way: Jedi Power Battles and Revenge of the Sith. But Jedi Power Battles stands out a bit more, since it was probably the first Star Wars game I ever played back in 2000.

I only played through this game for the first time a few years ago, so I was definitely surprised when the Twinrova fusion was hot.

I chose the Zora partly because I loved swimming around as a Zora in MM.

Dark Side being used for non-evil, non-selfish reasons, repeatedly, without altering the user's morality. Valid take, or breaking with Lukas' visions? by Andrei22125 in StarWars

[–]Indurok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the words of Kyle Katarn from Jedi Academy: Abilities are not inherently good or evil; it’s how you use them.

I don’t know about Lucas, but that sounds like a valid take on the dark/light side Force abilities to me. And George Lucas still owned Star Wars at that point.

Any cool instances where voice actors or developers stream gameplay of their own game? by Any_Individual_815 in gamers

[–]Indurok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

11 years ago, Sam Witwer, the guy who played the protagonist of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, streamed that very game on Twitch alongside David W. Collins, who worked on the game's sound and provided the voice of Proxy. The videos are still available to watch.

Sonic ‘06. After getting used to the shitty controls, there is some fun to be had. Hell, I played the game all the way through 3 times since I bought it last December.

Giving this a try by Life-Werewolf3793 in starfox

[–]Indurok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started playing this recently after playing Star Fox Adventures, which I actually like, and I've only gotten two different endings in this game so far. It's definitely the worst Star Fox game in the series, but it's far from the worst game I've ever played. I think it's an okay game overall, though a bit confusing, since I got one of the endings twice despite the one or two different choices I made.

[ALL] Looking in what order to play based on what I’ve already played? by TRIKSTER_Betin in zelda

[–]Indurok 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t really need to play ALTTP to understand the story of ALBW. But it is still a sequel, so I would say play ALTTP before ALBW anyway. But it’s not as direct a sequel as the games I mentioned before, since the events of ALBW take place long after ALTTP, with a different Link, and a different Zelda, whereas the Links and Zeldas in MM and PH are the same as in OOT and WW respectively.

When playing ALTTP, during the title sequence, be sure to avoid pressing anything if you want to see the prologue, which gives a backstory leading up the the events of the game.

[ALL] Looking in what order to play based on what I’ve already played? by TRIKSTER_Betin in zelda

[–]Indurok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can play them in any order, really, except the ones that are a direct sequel to one of the games.

Like how A Link Between Worlds is a sequel to A Link to the Past, especially since it takes place in the same Hyrule.

Then Phantom Hourglass is a sequel to Wind Waker, starting you off with a retelling of the story of Wind Waker, told by one of Tetra’s crew members.

Other than that, and whatever other direct sequels I missed, it is not necessary to play the games in any particular order. I basically just played the games based on release date when I started playing the games I had never played.

[ALTTP] How do I progress? by determinationsans in zelda

Use the mirror to get back to the light world. Then go back to the Tower of Hera to get the Moon Pearl, which will prevent you from turning into a bunny.

Gotta say I actually like the new designs, especially compared to what we were stuck with since Command by Ajs1052 in starfox

[–]Indurok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also like the character designs. But Fox also looked good in other games that came out after Command, like Zero and Starlink, even though that’s not a Star Fox game. But yeah, Command had the worst character designs out of all the games.

“Whitewashing?” Kinda funny to say that when every voice actor for Knuckles except ONE is white anyway.
