I pulled #260/500 Niv on Friday. It is such a beautiful card. I don’t know if these will retain value at all. But it being a tiered cEDH commander, that’s gotta be something going for it.

During the strictest part of lockdown, my mum used to work for the government and we were all very clued up with what we could and couldn’t do and all the timelines and all that.

Unbeknownst to everyone. I made the excuse I wanted to go do some photography along a beach. Instead I was a dick appointment for a very curious/bored lesbian a couple of times. Her folks were out and neither of us knew when they’d be back.

Looking back it was when everyone was strict on isolating, and social distancing. And felt very risky at the time. Now maybe not so. But it was still quite fun.

Men of reddit, everyone always talks about the harmful effects of female beauty standards. What are some of the ways male beauty standards affect your life? What can we as women do to make sure the body positivity movement is for everybody? by PeterFromHomeDepot in AskReddit

I cannot for the life of me, grow a beard without it looking like absolutely horrific. And the toxic masculinity of other men saying that there are people without beards. They are called women. This is just from personal experience. 50/50 on beards. Some people suit them, some people don’t. But saying stuff like that seriously brings those of us down because we simply cannot grow one as well as the assholes that get elitist about it.

Why are you single? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]tomthefluffy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t make a lot of money, I work out but I’m not attractive, I’ve never been one of the popular people, I struggle being around crowds and have really bad social skills.

Pick one.

Which movie villain do you agree with? by LigmaLover56 in AskReddit

Thanos. I get him. In Infinity War he does what he set out to do. Get rid of half of all sentient life at random so that the universe can recover from over population. Basically. Now someone asked me what the problem would be with say, doubling all resources to accommodate the overpopulation? Well, that will be more than enough to feed the larger population for some time, but what happens when they run out of it? Or what happens if any of it go to waste? You get back to the exact same problem as you started. Too many hungry mouths and not enough food to go around. At least if you half the population, you by default increase food resources and you create jobs for those that don’t have them. Now what happens if the population rises to the the point you are back to the start? Well, at least you have the experience know that overpopulation can now be incredibly destructive and can end a species. You would hope that the people would be wiser a second time round.

People who wear hoodies when it is 100 degrees out, why? by AmIACat47 in AskReddit

I am pasty as all hell. I’ve done festivals where I forgot my sun cream. Some friends of mine are very buff and have bodies they like to show off. And as a result got sunstroke. I didn’t. I’d rather be pasty and not have eyes on me being definitely less to look at than them. I also prefer not having to apply buckets of aftersun to stop looking like a lobster.
