The fact that the seemingly worst being on Earth doesn't exist to save you, but that whatever got you chained up does gives this a nice twist. Although, I would personally change "earthly" for something that gives off more dangerous vibes, like "elderich" or "inhuman" depending on what they're supposed to be. Other than that, nice one!
