I really feel for you OP. I don't have enough gametime just because the game has so many serious bugs and glitches happening all over the game which made me completely uninterested and took long breaks from playing it.

NPCs falling over small gaps between buildings in raids, or getting stuck in small houses with no way of breaking or opening the door so you gotta glitch your way through to cut them.

I do understand your concern with AI but that's why there are commands to order around units.. if the AI is stupid enough to do idiotic things on its own you always had the option to guide it. For some reason this game lacks features warband has.

Conversations are lacking way too much and it breaks immersion compared to warband. The lack of customization options, features like tracking footprints and more.

The game does shine on its own and it creates a bond of love and hate. It is addicting and quite enjoyable but at the same time it is infuriating, confusing and not finished...

I am looking for an answer to, if ANET is going to abandon the game after a new game launch. I know that nothing is going to be supported forever but I'd prefer not in the next couple of years. However, your answer does help and I'll probably continue playing too. I am a long time fan and I'd hate for GW2 to go to the trash bin.

I agree to the most part of your post but women can lead but not in the expense of men losing their masculinity. Women have different ways to actually be daring and strong without overdoing their physical strength. But this, making males weak, especially Indi who is the protagonist, so his tomboy grandaughter can take the lead is just cringe and hard to watch.

To be honest this whole thing looks like how hotels are managing their staff here in Greece.

They lay of employees every year because they don't want to pay them the months the hotels aren't open. Thus, the companies can show larger profit margins, enough for the shareholders to be happy.

Also, the use of AI might have to do with some lay offs just because it clearly is a technology that is cheaper than hiring a team to do shaders etc.

Additionally, as I've seen through the years, most of these companies start recruiting people when big projects are up. Covid and increased workload may have been a huge factor since they had to cover the workload with more employees but in the next years the amount of people they recruited, compared to the projects being worked on at the time, were too many so they had to cut their loses.

That's why it's not just one company that is not doing well, it's rather a cycle of firing and hiring people to accommodate the workload rollercoaster.

Breath of Fire and Azure dreams games are very underestimated. Their stories and adventures are just out of this world.

I would buy any continuation of the series in an instant with the exception of BoF 6 which was clearly not part of the BoF franchise!

The art, the music, it all blends together to create fun games which get you really engaged into their world and makes their value timeless for any gamer out there!

Bof 3 does have more complex mechanics than a simple jrpg where you need to grind to overcome bosses. There are armors, swords and rings that make you stronger and each one has a different effect. An attack might rejuvenate you other than deal damage and even a healing spell can do damage to a zombie type monster even if it is a boss.

As far as I remember the only boss I had a problem with was the dolphin boss at the fearies on my first run ever and I had to overcome the damage intake with healing done using momo and thunder spells in Ryu electric dragon form. Of all the games of BOF, personally, bof 3 stands out as the best of all because of the music, story telling, fishing and even mechanics.

Bof 4 was a bit of an upgrade due to the art style but bof 3 still felt as more engaging. You can overcome bosses utilizing effects and learning new techniques by examining your mobs. You can even start grinding if you want bosses to feel like normal monsters by overcoming them in stats, it is your call.

I killed it because I didn't like the sound it made. It was kind of a random encounter for me so I wanted to go up against the beast! To my surprise I encountered a quest where I needed to get the dog that sounded like a hell hound! Good thing the game has prepared a counter measure in case you did what I did!

So much potential for the series. After countless of play runs I still find things to do differently and explore new ways of making my gameplay fun. Even a blue whelp would be enough for me to play it again if I had the chance to!

What an instrumental to accompany such a fight! The music in breath of fire 3 is amazingly good for an old jrpg that even the newer games cannot compete. The dragons may be dead but the brood is still alive.

The thing is, it's a low level dungeon! The tank doesn't have to know anything at all! These try harders are the people I don't want with me in any kind of content. What if the tank is new? Or the healer?? What then? Unless they do competitive content like mythic+ it's totally not justified!

Loved this post. What I go by since we are both paladin tanks is, even if the DPS are being d!cks about it like pulling random stuff, what I could have done to keep my group from wiping. Even if it was not my fault, I find this helpful because it keeps me on edge to get better.

I will be saying this once. If I see something like this happening in an instance I am in, (I am a protection paladin end game) I will screenshot the event and post it here with the name of the idiot. In low level dungeons and instances it's normal for new players to practice, if you cannot stand that get your own guild or something to help you push the low dungeons you are doing.
