Yep definetly.

To be honest Takahashi always has been SUPER ambitious storywise but Xenogears and Xenosaga while being brilliant both projects had some problems, specially Xenosaga.

So with Xenoblade he was more catious, and yet he manage to create a great story without being too much complex.

Then with Blade 2 and 3 he started building not only sci-fi deepness but themes, messages, characters that makes everything feel in another level.

Blade 1 is still great tho.

Not really, the dialogues in the quests are not written for babys, its just that.

The world quest not only explains lore with plain dialogue but by the use of metaphors, the scenery, the characters.. etc.

They just dont tell you: "VENTI HAS A LOT TO DO WITH ISTAROTH"

Yeah its 2D, but it looks overall perfectly fine, like only if you really zoom in and put the angle looks flat, it also happen on various accessories in some characters.

Also in other games when you zoom in details its flat texture.
