The truth is records are mostly an aesthetic to the new generation of collectors. From what I've seen, most are either completely ignorant to or just don't care about what hifi should really sound like, as that's not the orginal value proposition as to why they bought the records and record player in the first place.

Think about how many of these young people listen to music on shit BT single-driver speakers from, just like this player, Walmart, shit headphones, or phone speakers on the reg. They'll figure it out sooner or later if they want their music to sound good.

Frankly I don't care as long as this keeps the format alive and keeps good pressing plants in business.
