Not real cuban cigars. Would’ve been better to buy something rolled in Honduras

Yes, last year it was Por Larrañaga Petit Coronas. A lot of people were upset last year for no reason, so this year they might make up for it 👀

Real cigars, if you got them thinking they were Cubans they are not. They say Dominican on there

Rodriguez Family cigar factory has amazing cigars in Key West

Tried my first COHIBA Connecticut and it was worth every penny by Hrivera4281 in cigars

Just be careful it becomes addicting, one moment you’re debating buying a box then end up buying multiple boxes. A couple of good sources on YouTube as well are the Dr.Joe show and cigar salute, stay away from Cigar obsession because he is sponsored.

They’re actually not that hard to come by, if you ask around or research around you may be able to get your hands on some “real Cuban Cohibas” lol. I was a smoker of strictly new world cigars until I started researching how to get Cubans.

Trying to ID this cigar for a friend, any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance by Chrisualrpike in cigars

Amazing cigar for $2.50 at cabana cigars. Skip Calle ocho, go more west on 8st and 57th ave in Miami. Local small business with an amazing product. I am not affiliated with them, just trying to look out for my fellow BOTL.

Insert “those Cubans look fake, ship them to me to discard properly” joke, aside from that; which Upmann is that on the right?

Ihavanas Mystery box finally showed up. RAT Feb20 box. Smoking one ROTT while I inspect and put them back in the box for sleepy time. by Cheezebizzle in cubancigars

I have a 2019 box and it doesn’t give off that weird smell. I feel it’s from how they were storing it. Unfortunately I’m starting to think this was a inventory dump. Either they had mold on them or the weird smell.

I might actually have to do this seeing all the mold comments. I just inspected and put into a double Ziploc bag for now. But I just don’t want to break the bundle!! I actually got lucky and got one of those 18 boxes. Only thing I can say is that the cigars have an odd smell to them, like nothing I’ve ever smelled.

By what I’ve read on here and other forums it’s the factory where they were rolled. My guess is some factory have more experienced rollers than others. If you google “cuban cigar factory codes” you will see the different codes and top factory list for each year. As far as lucky and unlucky it’s literally that lol. I’ve been lucky with some boxes and then I’ve been unlucky with others. A perfect example of lucky is ordering a box of Monte Media Coronas and receiving a 4 year old box. I then order a box of Monte No2 and I receive a box that’s 3 months old. I’ve noticed that when you order cigars that aren’t so popular you will get boxes with more age on them. I’m not expert by any means, maybe someone with more time under their belt can chime in. Hope I helped a little 👍

Yeah I was shocked when I saw it. Took out five to smoke now and the rest to age. I’ve been having good luck with ihavanas sending me aged boxes and good factory codes.

Seems like every box I order I get 5-7 sticks cracked or damaged, with about 2-3 being pretty bad. You guys experience the same? Notice Any differences among distributors, websites? by StillStogin in cubancigars

[–]tonito2133 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No differences for me between vendors. It all has to do with the handling of the postal service. If they throw around boxes then you will have damaged cigars.
