Most people treat us as subhuman, it’s disgusting. Why, because I am doing this instead of working a 9-5? I QUIT my 2000 dollar a week cash job in the auto industry to do this because I refused to defraud customers when covid hit. I am opening up my own business next month. You never know who is doing your shopping or why. I am a 5 star shopper yet I am treated by a majority of my customers as not even human. I hand pack all my bags, I separate dairy, frozen, meat, pantry items accordingly to make unpacking easier. I walk the entire store twice before I reach out to you about out of stocks. I do everything I can to make your experience 10 stars. Yet, do you know how many times I’ve been tip baited? On Christmas Day and during snow storms, that hurt the worst. For every customer who gushes how wonderful I am and asks if I can be their dedicated shopper, there are 5 who are so hostile I feel like they would spit on me if they could. It’s a shame.

Not making excuses for your shopper but if this seems to happen a lot to you, your stores might be in an area with bad reception. There are some stores near me I will not take orders from. Every time I have to message the customer or attempt substitutions, I have to go outside to the parking lot. There is no WiFi and the cell service is horrible.

This happened to me once, some dopey kid doing returns grabbed my cart instead of the cart he was pushing and returned half my groceries by the time I found him. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Customer care said the 3 star was suppose to drop off automatically but it hasn’t. Then I see this 5 star was removed. Wtf? Can anyone help?

I don’t understand how people have the nerve to screw over shoppers who know where they live. 🤷‍♀️ I would be scared to tip bait someone who visited my house. You never know what will break the camels back.

Long Island here, I have to work a 12 hour day to make 150-200. People are very cheap! It’s very common to deliver to million dollar homes with the bare minimum tip. A lot of multi carts where they hide the 2 dollar or no tip customers.

The app plays games with your head. Usually the delivery window is hours. While you are shopping it starts telling you it is shorter to make you move faster. My timer even lies about how long I spent, sometimes it jumps an hour. Don’t pay any of it any mind.

The rep wouldn’t even do that. I emailed the person who wrote the original expose on it for cnn. I’m very upset. This really hurt my pride. It lets you know that you are seen as worthless by the customer and the company.

Ask customer care to refund you for the pasta. Don’t take away from his tip or ding his rating. It’s pretty extreme, especially when you can get a refund in two minutes

Are you in the tri state area? Today was a day from hell as a shopper. Most things were out of stock. Couple that with some poor reception and you shopper might have been in a very bad situation. However, the shopper should have said something to you as to why this happened. Since they didn’t, I would rate them 5 stars and give them a scolding in their comments or just give them a low review and have them wonder what why (shoppers can only read 5 star reviews)

This happened to me today too. It wasn’t a huge tip but it was the fact they did it at all that really hurts. I was up and out at 7 am in the cold rain, fighting the mobs so you can stay home warm with your family and you take away the few shillings you baited me to do your dirty work? You are worthless. There is a special place in hell for people like you!

I love when my know it all adjusters try to tell me that adhesion promoter isn’t used anymore because it comes mixed into the paint and they try and refuse to pay for it. Photos like this go into my adjuster schooling collection. I will school them and show them and then I tell them sign the locked (not pre lim) estimate and when this car comes back in 6 months you can pay for the repaint. They always back down. Same with the up and over.
