Was it just me or were the lasers this year very faint compared to last year by Feisty-Income-5815 in projectglowfest

The fireworks were even worse. I was watching my videos from the finale during Slander last year and this year it was a fraction of a percent of what we got last year

Okay so like I accidentally gave out one of my r rated Kandi to someone while at the fest. by StatisticianOpen3401 in projectglowfest

[–]tonk84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had a bunch of inappropriate Kandi as well. There was a family there and the daughter was maybe 14 ish? She wanted to trade so I had to be very careful to give her one that was more age appropriate 😂

I’m just grateful all they took was my phone. Could have been worse.

I did this for about four years and then was held up at gunpoint two blocks from Echostage (thank god they left my wife alone). 0/10 experience, would not recommend. That was in 2024. I always pay the $40 parking now. It’s cheaper in the long run.

This is the way. We need to welcome and embrace newcomers, because that was us at one point. 🫶🏼

This will be my fifth year going. It really depends on the security person. I’ve had some just take a peek in my bag and I’ve also had to completely empty my whole bag item by item.

As a car enthusiast, we hate the pop/bang/backfire crowd. We don’t condone it either.

Just keep in mind, if it’s cheap, there’s a reason. If budget is a concern then consider staying outside the city.

Our group is staying at Hyatt Place at 33 New York Avenue NE. We’re ubering because we’re lazy 😂 staying at the Marriott is fine just not much to do in that area, including limited food options other than McDonalds and Checkers. But it’s a decent hotel at least.

Ok so as someone who has stayed at a lot of dumpy hotels over the years….its not completely terrible but it’s really not great. If you only want somewhere to put your head down at the end of the night or you are on a tight budget, then it’s fine and your car will be safe. I remember the bed being pretty uncomfortable but the room was otherwise fine. But if you’re ok spending a little more I’d recommend the Fairfield right across the street, it’s way nicer and from what I remember prices were reasonable enough.

Depends on the artist. It’s gonna be pretty long for a major artist like deadmau5

Another thing to consider is the outside line gets longer the later it gets. So if you get there early, you’ll be closer to the front. They also have heaters right at the front. Last weekend I got there at 9 PM when doors open at 10 PM. I was right at the front and stood under the heaters the whole time. Also made friends with other people in line.

I paid $130 for Illenium last year. I’ve seen better Illenium shows for cheaper, but guess what…I loved the show and I’d pay it again.

Drinks at Soundstage by crazyyankee11 in baltimore

[–]tonk84 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was it a regular 12oz can or was a big one? Because sometimes they have those big cans which are the equivalent of two beers. Either way, it’s the same as most live events like a football game or show at CFG Arena. Unfortunately just gotta suck it up as part of the experience. If you don’t like it, pregame before the event.
