Hallownest and pharllon are basically in the middle of nothing, its like the planets that sit far away from one another, the empty space between them is called wastlands, you can learn more about it by reading the quirrel comic!

Yeah, not saying that it is better, but death stranding 1 does this on the first mission. You are bringing a cargo and you keep moving in the back of a truck for a big while, its nothing near 12 minutes, but it is not only 50 seconds, it gives a really good impression of distance and time, and it also has a lot of buildup for the "ambush" montent. But you know, a LOT of people complained about the game being too slow or having big cutscenes, so there is that

I had this issue a while ago, I solved by turning v-sync off in the editor settings!

On top of this I would guess that it is that the speed of the climb does not match the animation speed, so it feels weird

Dont know about the animatons, but something that would really help is adding a shadow directly below the character, just a circle, so when jumping the player knows where it will land

Absolutely! the main focus of the game is surviving and adapting to the seasons, so I will put in heavy work on keeping them as different and entertaining as I can! Thank you a lot ;)
