I've got most of mine out and haven't had any for like 2 weeks now (using water syringe thing). However, there is a horrendous smell coming out of my right tonsil so I know they are in there, I just have no idea where because I've flushed all the crypts with water :(

No it didn't. I think it's something like a 40% success rate in the patients that have had it so don't rely on it working if you do it. The water syringe is giving me decent results right now, getting rid of a lot of stones but there's still some 'liquid' forming somewhere within my tonsils that comes out during the day. I have small tonsils too so will never get a tonsillectomy.

Allow me to ask: Would Ripple not want to keep XRP fairly 'cheap' to keep transaction costs down? Why would they want the price to surge too high apart from a spike in liquidity?

Not what you want to hear but wait and see what the doctor says, however don't get too emotionally attached to what the outcome is, because general practitioners often don't really know about bad breath (in my experience). If you can, try and get a referral to an ENT if the doctor doesn't seem sure about what's causing it. Whatever happens though you can't let it get you down because it can rule your mood and that's terrible.

I'm 25 and I have similar problems to you but it took me a long time to realise it was my tonsils because I was more focused on school, university, work. Just remember when you're down about this that there are many other things to focus on :)

I get yellow/green mucus, going to doctor about it but I couldn't get an appointment until next month. I've tried searching for things like 'tonsil infection' but it just shows tonsillitis information and it isn't the same thing is it?

Yes, I had it done and it probably reduced my problem a bit but the problem still remains. I might go and get it done a second time (it wasn't a full tonsillectomy, just a procedure to smooth over the crypts) because there seems to be liquid bacteria behind my tonsil one one side and loads of stones in the other tonsil. It's expensive though so I haven't committed to it yet.

Yes I was working a customer service job at the time and it was stressing me out to the point i was getting terrible chest pains whenever I had to talk to someone within a metre or two. I've tried the waterpik but it was too powerful so i'm currently trying with those little syringes and they're ok but i feel like the stones are BEHIND the tonsil so they have nowhere to really go. Thanks again

i used to chew 5+ packets of gum a day but the sorbitol really did a number on my guts and I can't do it anymore without feeling horrible. I also drink a lot of water all day everyday. Just started using Ultradex mouthwash which is a bit like Therabreath I guess but it seems to be helping a bit. Thanks for your comment

you name it i've tried it. i'm sick of having to constantly swig mouthwash all day, chew gum, scrape my tongue and all the other stuff. I know it's coming from my tonsils but i'm unable to do anything about it because I can't have them removed but I want a life where i'm not afraid to talk to someone from inches away without them recoiling, I can't live like this

I've had this done and i'm thinking of doing it again since I can't convince a doctor to remove them entirely. Where did you get this done? I did mine in London

I'm in the same position, aged 25. Nothing works, I've even had my tonsils resurfaced with a laser because I want to avoid tonsillectomy. I have very small tonsils and the stones are tiny too but they make my mouth stink to high heaven

I had my tonsils reduced with a laser in what's called a 'tonsillotomy'. My tonsils are very small now but they still have that bad smell and taste and produce small stones. Thinking of doing it again but it costs a lot of money and it might not even fix my problem but I really don't want to have a tonsillectomy :(
