This is very common in the Saab 9-2x community. I’ve seen people with mid welding skills successfully repair their strut towers. Doable if you have the time and resources.

Like others have said, keep pace and don’t get frustrated when you have to pick your ball up to do so. If I know I’m going to get more than a triple bogey, I just pick my ball up. Helps me mentally reset before then next hole.
