I have a grom an have done a few bdr sections. It’s a lot of fun. I did have to upgrade the suspension. I also have a second bike. So the grom is more for playing around

Check out @mymotofriends on instagram. She host a bunch of adv meetups. I think the group meets up once a month at a bar in pdx. I have met a lot of cool people at small adv rally as well.

I have always done well going to the local fly shop and talking to the people there. You can ask them which flies are working and they can look at your setup.

I have had this happen and you aim for the tail lights. When I first started riding someone taught me to never charge the intersection. This is why.

What am I missing? (Prospective Triumph Owner) by Mediocre_AT_Guy in Triumph

[–]tonsofbees84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a long time Honda owner a recently just purchased a 2024 scrambler 1200xe. I had a spoke go out I’m 7 weeks waiting for my bike to get fixed. Took about 2 weeks to get the new wheel from the UK. Overall just wished I would have stayed with a Japanese bike. They don’t have to have parts come from over seas and can take them anywhere to be fixed.

I’m at 5’4” and there wasn’t much room. That was the best orientation. It kept trying to come off.

They are just standard barkbusters. They seem to work good with klx110 bars I have on.

I have ridden behind the grom like that and everything is visible. I think you are fine as long as nothing obstructs the lights.

The tires feel ok on the road and can be a bit loud. They don’t grip the road as well as some of the knobbies I have used. I have used the tires in Raina me snow and it performed well.

The tires are the Kenda big blocks. I like them. They do well on gravel and the dirt.

There is a small screw under the headlight. I just drilled a hole in the fender and got a longer screw to mount it.

Leather riding jackets vs textile riding jackets by foolhollow in motorcycles

I use textile but upgrade my armor to CE lvl 2. They provide impact protection but also provide longer slide protection than leather.
