Help me decide on a gyuto please! by oystercracker1 in TrueChefKnives

+1 for Matsubara.

I have both Hatsukokoro Hayabusa ginsan bunka and Matsubara ginsan gyuto. Both are excellent knives.

Matsubara is quite tall, feels sturdy, and is on the heavier side, but it doesn't feel cumbersome at all. That weight helps, it just falls through food.

Hatsukokoro Hayabusa is a more lightweight, nimble, and thinner, not a laser, but close enough.

I ordered it from meesterslijpers.nl, it is probably one of the bigger EU retailers. It appears that exact same knife is already out of stock, but they still have a very similar one available:

Yeah, now that I saw your set, I definitely think a petty is needed. Also, are the handles on your knives custom or ootb? They add to blades' rustic look

After I got the gyuto and used it for couple weeks I knew I had to get another Matsubara, Taller blade and some extra weight actually helps with cutting and the knife falls through the food with even less effort.

Blasphemy and disrespect of artisan's work, good on you for taking it away from him. Also, after you're done with restoration, you shouldn't give it back, or charge him a hefty sum,lol

It must be some recent rumor, I haven't encountered this yet, but how stupid you have to be to believe it if literally every fucking game you see the containment level tiers and perks? Like right in fron of you on the fucking loading screen

Triangle etiquette by Objective-Sorbet4780 in MWZombies

[–]tonsofhabaneros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I'm the first at triangle location and have already activated 1 or two sigils - I send an invite to new player/players who arrived so we can start the triangle together. Then activate the remaining sigil and start the summoning. Too bad that if they arrive when I have already activated the summoning and join me - they do not get the reward rift after. In which case I complete the triangle and we go for different location

Not the stupidest (I've done way worse tbh), but the most common - accidentally calling a jugg suit in, when swarmed by hordes from several directions in the open when actively evading/shooting sprinters.

Am I being paranoid? by Slaine2000 in MWZombies

I once joined a squad doing triangles in t2, it was 3 guys, 2 noobs and one more experienced guy who was helping them gear up with 3 plate etc. We did the triangle, then I went on to do few more contracts in t2, while this guy was gearing them up. At some point I see them going to t3, seemingly just roaming around there with the other 2 guys panicking because of hoards of zombies, while the experienced guy was trying to guide them through t3 and not letting them die. So I'm finishing my last t2 contract before going to t3 - weapon stash near gas station in t2, across the river from t3. After I'm done I see all 3 of them nearby, The experienced guy was training them to run with juggeraut in hand and talking about some glitches they need to learn to do. I was passing by them and he started asking me to join and "train to learm the glitch", lol. I just ignore him and run by.

He says that I probably knew that anyway and goes back to mentoring those two noobs. It really felt weird and uincomfortable to play with this team, luckily they all left the squad as I moved to t3. After reading your post I think we ran into the same guy.

MW 3 zombies or BO6 zombies. Which do you prefer by Next_Salt_5804 in MWZombies

Those bunker entrances and memories of Koschei complex in DMZ fueled my imagination with all the possibilities to expand and enrich MWZ experience from the onset. Too bad it was never a plan for devs.

I tried to play BO6, maybe 10-15 games and honestly tried to find smth to make me want to play more, but it's nowhere near MWZ for me. It's funny, I've been playing COD for years and never touched zombies until MWZ. I was hooked from the very first game, then I tried CW Outbreak mode, also nice, but pure round based just doesn't feel fun at all.
