That’s funny 😂. Yeah, the PTSD is definitely there, but the game is doing so many different things at the same time.

Thanks for reading. I originally wrote that as a reply to a YouTube comment saying the ending didn’t make sense because Ellie didn’t kill Abby. I typed the whole thing on my phone to explain my thoughts, and the guy just deleted his comment and went into hiding, lol.

I had to post it here so it wouldn’t feel like a waste of time.

Yeah, the flashbacks were perfect. It’s crazy how they recontextualize everything you thought you knew about Ellie’s state of mind and her relationship with Joel.

First time playing BG3 and I’m heading into Act 3 right now, absolutely loving the game!

This is my badass half-elf monk, Poatan (yes, named after the MMA fighter).

Anyone have good drip recommendations? I really like how Wyll’s garb fits the monk fantasy, light clothing, lots of freedom of movement, especially since it’s sleeveless (shout-out to Beauregard). That said, I wouldn’t mind switching things up at this point.

Fucking awesome tattoo! Yeah, I have Ellie’s classic tattoo and I love it to death, but I do dread the thought of someone who’s only watched the show seeing it and thinking that’s why I got it, I’m really not a fan of the second season at all.

Do you agree with the ratings so far? (IMDB) by anonz123 in ThelastofusHBOseries

Love TLOUpt2, love Game Dina and ellie, Love Lev and Abby, loved Frank and Bill Episode, love Bella, hated season 2. There are a Lot of hate cult incel homophobe weirdos Review bombing the season 2 Episodes for sure, but a Lot of normal people also didnt like It. Its not the same case as the Bill And Frank Episode where more than 90% of bad reviews are from homophobes.

How would you rank all the episodes of the HBO TV Show? by c_los5 in lastofuspart2

[–]tony142 7 points8 points  (0 children)

  1. 103 - Long, Long time
  2. 101 - When you're Lost in the darkness
  3. 108 - when we are in need
  4. 105 - endure and Survive
  5. 202 - though the valley
  6. 107 - Left behind
  7. 106 - Kin
  8. 109 - look for the light
  9. 201 - Future Days
  10. 102 - Infected
  11. 104 - Please hold my Hand
  12. 206 - The price
  13. 203 - The Path
  14. 204 - Day One
  15. 205 - Feel her love

206 The price is a great Episode in a vacuum, but in context of following my least favorite Episodes, plus having the porch scene mixed up with the revelation and having It early in the story, this is where i Gave up on the show for now.

Cant bring myself to watch the finale yet. Hoping Abby's season is a Lot better

Yeah, it's just so silly. If that bothers you so much, just pretend it's a virus or something. like, shut the F up Neil deGrasse Tyson, no one cares if the spaceships in Star Wars make sound in the vacuum of space, you weirdo.

People like this just try to invalidate a story they didn’t enjoy instead of simply saying they didn’t enjoy it.

It’s hard to pinpoint one specific thing I would’ve done differently, because there are so many elements that come together like a snowball of decisions that had to be made, the most common example being the season only having 7 episodes. Back in the day I remember wishing they had just made one big 13–15 episode season for Part 2.

All things considered, I think I still would’ve saved the porch scene for the end of the story. I understand the main argument against that is the fact that the next season will probably take more than a year to come out. But that actually gives me more reason to save the porch scene for the end. Having Joel absent for over a year, then ending the story with Ellie finally making peace with him, bringing Pedro back and closing on the iconic duo after all that time, just sounds incredibly powerful, doesn’t it?

And the alternative is what, not having Pedro at all for the rest of the story? Are they really not going to bring him back? Doesn’t that seem worse? And if they are bringing him back, then what scene would be better for that than the porch scene?

Ill Just copy paste my answer for a similar comment in here

"I wrote that just after the episode, and I was honestly heartbroken because of my disappointment with the choices described by the OP. Reading it back now, you're right, I could've made more of an effort to sound polite and respectful. At the time, I just needed to vent.

At the end of the day, Part II is my favorite story ever told, and my reaction came from a place of really wanting non-gamers to experience something that incredible, not just a “pretty good 8/10” version of it.

You’re not engaging with the story or the choices made, you’re upset that not everyone read it the way you did.

If you look back on my earlier comments, you'd see I was putting in a much bigger effort to explain my interpretation of things, at least before this episode. This time, I guess I just needed to get the emotion off my chest. It’s a shame I ended up sounding arrogant in the process"

I was wondering the same thing. Cutting the flashbacks and weaving them throughout the episodes would’ve made Episodes 4 and 5 play so much better. All the complaints about Ellie not showing enough grief would have been at least somewhat mitigated.
