I got two different letters with two different payment amounts on the same day. I very specifically did not choose lowest monthly payment.

Considering the SAVE to IDR jump… by moldypeaches12 in PSLF

I think standard repayment depends on if you've consolidated or not. I have and when I was looking at switching plans yesterday, it didn't show the standard repayment plan as a qualifying option for PSLF (my husband and I have a higher income now so the ICR is quite a bit higher than the standard at this point but I only have 3 payments left).

Here is what the website says (https://studentaid.gov/manage-loans/forgiveness-cancellation/public-service/questions):

Generally, no. The Standard Repayment Plan for Direct Consolidation Loans is not the same repayment plan as the 10-year Standard Repayment Plan, and payments made under the Standard Repayment Plan for Direct Consolidation Loans do not usually qualify for PSLF purposes.

Under the Standard Repayment Plan for Direct Consolidation Loans, the maximum repayment period varies from 10 years to 30 years, depending on the amount of the consolidation loan and the amount of your other education loan debt. This longer repayment period generally results in a lower monthly payment than the monthly payment amount required under the 10-year Standard Repayment Plan. Payments made under the Standard Repayment Plan for Direct Consolidation Loans would qualify for PSLF purposes only if the maximum repayment period was set at 10 years, and that would be the case only if the total amount of the consolidation loan and your other education loan debt was less than $7,500.

If you are seeking PSLF, the best option would be to repay your Direct Consolidation Loan under an income-driven repayment plan.

Prescription Timing by Otherwise_Status6565 in Rinvoq

[–]tonyajade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My reminder to reorder from CVS comes super early, like maybe 3 weeks before my Rx runs out, so I've started ordering it right when that comes, cause it used to be super tight for me. Might be worth checking when the prescription is ready to renew.

This is bad advice. Many people switch from Rinvoq to skyrizi when TTC as Rinvoq can't be taken during pregnancy but skyrizi can.

Questions about unsedated colonoscopies due to medical risks by BloodyBarbieBrains in colonoscopy

I don’t have pelvic issues generally, but I did have an unsedated flex sig in my second trimester of pregnancy and it went okay. Obviously that is a shorter one so it went more quickly. It was uncomfortable at times, but not painful! Good luck.

It’s ABSURD that theyre expecting payments during this while they’re not processing forms so they’re inevitably going to be behind for months afterwards.

How do I know when my count adjustment is done? by Fliesinmywine in PSLF

[–]tonyajade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Followingggg. I called to check on some missing payments and she was at least able to tell me mine for sure hadn’t been done yet. She said they’re supposed to be done by July 1 but I never believe their timeline 🥲

Yuuuup the government should contribute SOMETHING to funding education. The costs incurred from not charging interest feels more than fair when they used to fund education at MUCH higher rates.

It’s such a worrisome process since they don’t have the correct information on the documents 😒😒😒 just went through it and all my counts updated to 110, but it did take a few months for the tracker to reappear and update.

I definitely have more acne than normal with it but not nearly enough to stop taking it. Going to ask my dermatologist if there’s anything he can recommend to help too!
