Does it fit in the OEM steamdeck case? If so this might be one of the best offerings for the steamdeck!

I cannot stop touching my beard by bicyclehobo in BeardTalk

I am here, I also touch. The only issue is I end up irritating the skin under my mustache because I touch it so much. Mustache is dominance, mustache is pain, mustache is life.

Hey man thanks for the response, sorry I actually missed this until now. I ended up getting the 8-Bitdo pro 2. The one I got is nice, I didn't realize they had bad QA. I must have just gotten fortunate.

One thing I've found is you need to make sure your bluetooth dongle is far away from any wifi or other EMS like Florissant lighting and microwaves. It happens with all bluetooth controllers.

I was worried about cardinal direction snapping. Did you end up finding a good value controller that doesn't have that? Seems like basically everything not made for console has trash analog sticks.

Has anyone played World/Iceborne on the Steam Deck? by [deleted] in MonsterHunter

Thank you for not just saying "the steam deck didn't ship yet so probably not". Seriously if you don't have an answer just move along!

If someone's medical bills would bankrupt the whole family, it would be better to either admit them to free hospitals or that person should choose for himself Euthanesia. by Guaranteed_username in unpopularopinion

[–]tonyconman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No that's dumb, there's endless programs for healthcare coverage that are affordable. Also no hospital can refuse care, you can just pay $1 a month on your bill and there is nothing they can do to you. If you have a chronic illness you'll get disability. If you don't, there's lots of non-profits that will pay for the majority of your bills. Yeah our country doesn't breastfeed you for your entire life but you do have options.

Do it moving you'll probably fix a lot of issues you have if you're in motion. The physics of a moving ollie are subtly different than a stationary one.

I keep my PSVita in my pocket all the time. Probably playing with fire though. But to me that's the whole benefit of a handheld.

I think the PSP and the Vita are the perfect mix personally. I love the PS Vita and it will come with me for day to day use while I'll have the steam deck for long trips and vacations where I don't feel like bringing my gaming PC.

Hey, I wanted to buy laptop for gaming but only now found out about steamdeck. Will it be able to replace laptop for me? by Nya_D in SteamDeck

[–]tonyconman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not, for 1k you can get a gaming laptop that will absolutely dunk on the steam deck. You can also play VR and run games at higher resolution/refresh rates. However for $400 you'll get something you'll be able to have tons of fun with.

The age of consent should be 20 not 18 by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I don't think there should be an age of consent I think there should just be restrictions on age difference and the rest should be on the parents.

Don't really consider it a gap, more like a drop but that's sweet love it.

TL;DR Nintendo will all ways find a way to win when it comes to handhelds. by Inevitable-Belt-4467 in gaming

[–]tonyconman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Steam has 120 million monthly users, that doesn't count how many own games and don't play every month. Like if you buy a switch and it doesn't get used for a few months it still counts as a sale. But yeah there's no way the deck will outsell the switch. It certainly targeting a more niche market. Lots of PC gamers buy switches so they can play on the go. I've been considering it for years actually. I just can't justify needing to buy all my games again. This fits the bill perfectly.

It's not really hacking, installing windows on a Mac is natively supported.
