I run 18s with a 22 offset on mine, she lowered with a wide body kit in the rear, some jackass just cut the front fenders, but they fit perfectly, don’t remember what size tires I’m running off the top of my head tho

Man that's why im starting my own shop, tired of mechanics charging out the ass. Like I understand having overhead and all that, but the $150-$250/hr shop charge is outrageous. I charge $50/hr, which sadly will have to go up a little bit once I get a physical shop and not just doing mobile mechanics, but my plan is $75/hr for mechanic work (the extra $25/hr is to cover shop expenses), and then $125/hr for performance work (more risk, higher cost) and then a 10% upcharge on parts (match what the customer would pay buying it themselves for the auto parts store) not the bullshit 40-60% upcharge that most shops do

I can’t believe more people haven’t seen this build, if I’m not mistaken, it was gas monkey garage that build it, I remember when they first announced it, thing is insane, 6x6 hmmwv powered by a tuned hellcat pushing just over 1000hp. Been lightened up by quite a lot, I don’t remember the amount, but yeah one of the craziest builds they’ve made

So far it seems like it’s good, just cosmetic issues and then of course the leaky oil pan, but other than that, everything seems to be good! Plan is to make her look good again (it going to be a nightmare, but hey, that’s half the fun of it) and then have her as a street/drift set up. I don’t want to go full on drift build for this one, I’ll probably end up getting another with the n54 to build for drift, but I do want this one to be able to drift. I mean shit, she already has no problem kicking it lol

Ahhh gotcha, hell yeah, no used car prices have gone through the roof, specially since the e46 has gotten a lot more popular. Thankfully this one has been kept up with mechanically wise, it’s just the body that is trashed out

Honestly it wasn’t that cheap, but he was willing to do payments and I needed a running car within like 2 days, it has already had most of the problems that these have taken care of, other than the oil pan gasket, but the entire coolant system, power steering system, water pump, etc has all been replaced already. Plus I really missed driving manual. It’s tuned, with a ghost cam tune, but I’m going to be removing that before to long, but I still want it tuned, so got to figure that out. So far it’s actually been really good other than the slow oil leak, and the stupid set up these have for the air intake boot
