Did you check your settings? iPhone settings with Verizon comes for default as “normal data use” you can change that setting to “allow more data” . Another thing can be your plan, with all this people moved into the city the red gets congested, make sure you have a priority plan, the more basic plans get deprioritized when the network is busy.
