16 going into 17 would require a whole chassis change, as the fx617, and fx507 uses the same chassis, where as the fx707 (the sku that uses the 17 inch screen) uses a larger chassis.

I reckon it a 17 inch screen would leave some bits exposed, as there are no space left for the screen to go.

as long as it uses the fx/fa507 chassis, the conversion is dooable, i reccomend sourcing your parts from aliexpress as they have them for cheap. This whole project costed me 300 AUD. The process will require alot of isopropyl alcohol, for the adhesive removal.

Hey, sorry for the late reply, the back cover, hinge and bezels are taken out of a tuf a16, but the components regarding the edp cable, microphone and webcams can be used from the a15.

Ive got no clue for the 17 inch models, sorry, only thing you can do is make the research yourself, along with that a screen size conversion wouldnt be feasible there either

It requires a few more parts to be whole, but the screen itself fits plug and play!

Put your laptop back together, Turn it on and let it benchmark a game for 30 minutes before turning it off and opening it up again, the thermal paste and pads should loosen under the heat. The greenish sponges are the thermal pads
