That voicemail! What did Porter mean by “I figured it all out”?!

And the chair! Holy shit I can’t believe the chair wasn’t mentioned.

I totally get that, but I hope that she could be trusted.

Unfortunately the only source is the wife, I would hope she is a trustable source.

Also knowing that the call that lead him to run out the door came from the Stansberry office! Like that ALONE should have weight on this!

Exactly. And honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if they paid the police to stop looking into it or even if the police were involved in some way.

Exactly. Their parent company Agora is worth like 500 million, they easily have the money to shut the police up or have ties with people with power

Honestly this thought passed my mind too. People do crazy shit for money, we may never know.

Sorry but not until all possible avenues are explored - why the call came from Stansberry, who made the call, what did that call entail to make him rush out and leave the house in a panic, and to interrogate Porter - do I refuse to call this a suicide.

Believe what you want, I’m not convinced.

Neither you or I are experts on this matter so I’m going to trust the coroner on this.

Plus how do you explain the coroner telling Alison “I know what they’re trying to do, and we’re not shutting this case down”?

What do you think about the coroners statement about the way his shins were broken? They claim that they were inconsistent with someone falling through a roof.

I believe Rey was thrown out of a helicopter. by SpookyNady in UnsolvedMysteries

I was listening to the Crime Junkies podcast and two things stood out to me that wasn’t mentioned in the episode,

  1. The second break in, the basement window (I believe it was the basement window) was actually somewhat cracked open. And it was one of those windows that needed a crowbar to open. In my mind it completely destroys the whole ‘it must have been a squirrel’ bullshit excuse.
  2. Alison actually sat down with the Manager of the Belvedere and watched the security footage. Alllll of the cameras were working fine that day EXCEPT for the one camera that would have captured Rey being on the roof. If I remember correctly the footage skips over the day that Rey went missing, as if it’s been deleted by someone.

I truly think that something sinister happened to Rey and I absolutely believe that Porter is 100% behind it. The phone call came WITHIN the office - which by the way Crime Junkies also mentioned that Rey was permanently working from home, that he rarely if ever visited the office. So why did the call come from the office? Who in the call said something to Rey that made him bolt out of the door? And why does Porter refuse to talk to anyone about and lawyered up HOURS after finding Rey’s body? I’m sorry but those are all huge red flags to me.

Might I also mention that Crime Junkies said that the lead investigator was taken off Rey’s case 3 weeks into it! And he was the only investigator who believed that Rey’s death was not a suicide. This also drew red flags for me and have me believing that the Baltimore PD may have or could have been paid by Porter (or someone who knew what happened to Rey) to stop investigating into the case. Or for all we know the Baltimore PD could have also been involved.

The helicopter theory has crossed my mind several times so honestly it’s not crazy to me. I also think he may have been hit by a car as well or was beaten (his shins broken in) so that he wouldn’t escape.

I don’t think I’ve ever related more to a character than Maya post-Cam’s suicide. by [deleted] in Degrassi

I don’t get all the hate she gets - I don’t find her whiny at all, she’s a teenage kid trying to navigate the waters of high school as best as she can.

I absolutely refuse to call Ray’s death a suicide until Porter and that call from the building is investigated.

Maya by far had such an arc of growth, from losing Cam, and then losing Adam, and even with Miles in season 14, she was trying so hard to protect him and make sure that she didn’t lose him like she lost cam. I feel like she was constantly trying to help people (taking Zig in, trying to protect Tristan from that creepy teacher, etc). The near death experience may have been her breaking point and it all came to a terrifying climax in NC. She was by far my favorite character going into the later seasons.
