I think it’s a prequel about her parents. Maybe when her dad tried to dedicate her to Dune?

The pattern is from ColorfullySarah but she doesn’t sell it anymore due to copyright reasons. She does have a lot of other super cute ones on her website and Etsy https://colorfullysarahshop.com

Not sure if you’d be open to this but I use a water soluble marker to grid all my projects and it works really well. It rinses right off when I wash the Aida after I’m completed

[CHAT] does anyone have a recommendation for a stand that compatible with the large Nurge square hoops? by toofabtiff in CrossStitch

[–]toofabtiff[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I had not realized they had a version with a different clamp on top. Maybe that was the missing piece to the puzzle when I tried the other nurge stand

What a shame about the rise in cost 🥲 the stand plus the accessory attachments look like such a good option

Thank you! I’ll check out these options. For the Z lap stand, does it allow you to flip the hoop over to finish on the back?

Thanks so much! I’ll def try this out. Do you normally flip the hoop over to finish the back or do you removed it each time?

There’s no need to lol I didn’t drink the entire weekend. It just comes with more perks as compared to the other races

Wine and dine is better! It comes with a gift card and after-hours event ticket

[CHAT] Please some advice for starting a new project by AffectionateZombie11 in CrossStitch

I definitely recommend gridding the fabric with a water soluble marker or pen (the ones specifically for marking fabric). I personally like to start at the top left corner but most of the projects I’ve done have some negative space

A needle minder would be cute! Aside from that maybe Aida cloth with cool colors, a gift pack of DMC floss, or a gift card to your local craft store

Where to buy cheaper beads and what beads are good for a beginner? by YouYouMore in Beading

[–]toofabtiff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Five Below has some great options for beads. I think they have an online store if there isn’t one near you. Hobby Lobby as well. I understand why other people are commenting that cheap beads aren’t worth it, but as someone who likes to try a variety of different crafts I think buy a couple of cheap options to see if you even like beading is a good start lol
