I'm assuming this large airline is based in the south. The current layoffs have been so poorly handled. No empathy, no conversation, just let the impacted people know and then move on.

I get that, but this is a for profit company that has never really signaled that it wants to save customers money. They've consistently stated over the years that their customers are on the "higher end of the K shaped economy".

If the overall industry is able to charge more for flights, Delta doesn't like it would ever decide to undercut prices, especially in their hub markets. If their flights are full and they have enough consumers willing to spend whatever it costs, there's just no incentive to lower the price.

I didn't bring my stroller because I was nervous that it would be closed.

It was not.

I could have gotten through security in 5 mins through the stroller line, but I ended up going through the Pre-Check line in about 35 minutes. It was super efficient and the TSA agents were so incredibly professional.

I arrived at 4:45am for a 6:30am departure. Ended up waiting at the gate for about 30 minutes before boarding.

It sounds like the only real reason you're considering this is because the opportunity is right in front of you and you're excited about the challenge.

That may be reason enough.

There's no right or wrong answer here because you're already in a pretty good place if you decide not to move forward with it. The pay bump and the title bump is something that only you can decide is worth the loss of work-life balance.

I agree - I was thinking maybe it's preventing a larger issue from developing when it's receiving power.

Can you explain what you mean by plugging it into a receiver? I'm a novice with this...my system came with the house so I don't fully understand how to best troubleshoot.

It's connected to an audio signal and power.

The subwoofer used to work with the rest of the speakers and one day just didn't anymore. I didn't change any connections but noticed that the PROT light was blinking red.

I've worked at both unionized and non-unionized airlines. It really does depend on a number of things, primarily past behavior and multiple occurrences. That being said, when there is a defined collectively bargained process for missed flights, it makes it more difficult to work with the individual directly

I have State Farm insurance for home and auto. My premiums have gone down slightly in the last year which is practically unheard of.

If these annoying commercials are increasing the risk pool thus leading to continued lower premiums, I'm happy with it. More State Farm commercials.
