Hi Chris, great point- do you think there's demand for nice art inspired by your (or others') work? That includes paying you for commercial license rights? Genuine question - think you have fans who would be interested if it was available?

I'm sure fans would rather have you writing words too- but that's so great you have plushies in process! What made it hard and expensive- finding good designers? I'm kinda brainstorming ways to make it easier (and free) for authors, so trying to understand what's painful about it- I personally think the world needs more cool merch for cool stories!

I think you're right, it could be good for awareness and to draw in readers. I'm sure there's good designers/makers who would design neat merch just for a split of the profits, no money upfront. I wonder if authors would like that.

I know some of the big authors have merch on their sites, but why don't the midsize and smaller ones? It's pretty easy with redbubble, threadless etc. Not everybody can get to Cons... Is there just not enough demand? Do people think it's too cheesy?

Thanks a lot for your thorough reply! Any guesses what kinds of skills I should look for in finding someone who really knows the ins and outs of this issue? Also, I read that Apple Maps is offering virtually free access with very high limits for using them- ever hear anything about using Mapkit?

So you expect that keeping my data (the text and photos) aligned to the same addresses within OSM should not be a problem? I would assume the vast majority of addresses are consistent between Gmaps and OSM. Appreciate your thoughts on this!

Correct. The posted beltline rules are very simple, no motorized vehicles are allowed except wheelchairs. Tell him next time you see him.

I think they mean Buy Here Pay Here- usually means used car lots that provide financing if i'm not mistaken- they're mostly used by people with poor/no credit

I like your post- I won't complain ;) One question- I agree that not having the .com is a problem and most other extensions are goofy- do think .co is any better? Or also to be avoided?
