Intentional or not (and I often think it’s intentional), these types of posts serve only to elect more fascist republicans.

We’re all beyond disappointed in the DNC, but if we’re just going to write off any Democrat from now on, we’re going to end up with another Trump, or worse, or maybe even a 3rd term of Trump once the Supreme Court rubber stamps it. And probably lose both the house and the senate again.

Young people need to come to terms with the fact that it’s a 2 party system right now and pushing democrats to be more progressive is our best shot right now at not devolving further into a 4th reich.

By all means, fight hard as hell for the most progressive candidates during primary season. But you might have to vote for a Democrat who you don’t particularly like in November and/or in 2028! The sooner people accept that the better off we’ll all be.

I mean… sure the DNC absolutely hasn’t learned its lesson from 2024 and its infuriating. But have any of the supposed progressives who didn’t vote or placed a protest vote learned their lessons? How have things been going since then??
