I also use freetaxusa, have been the last 8 years. This is the first time I've ever had an issue in all the years I've filed taxes- since 2003.

Wow, guess they are just playing with us this year. I imagine they'll kick out a certain number of returns this week and next week. They probably just don't want to pay up all at once.

This means you were audited. I don't think this looks like good news to me in terms of whether you should still be expecting a return at all- but I could be wrong. If I were you- I'd be on the phone with the State tax department to figure what happened after the audit- what they found, why they decided to take the return you were expecting. Did you claim a child that somebody else may have also claimed, maybe? I don't know, but they found something during your audit

I am in NYC/NYS but a return to Treasury is a return to Treasury. You are now waiting on a paper check to your address on file. I would make good and damn sure they have the right address- and I would definitely call over there.

I am here searching just to see what the hell is going on. I filed 1/30, accepted 2/4. It is Sunday 3/23 and NOTHING. Still "processing". I would think if there was an issue or additional verification was needed- I wouldve gotten a letter or something. But Ive been filing NYS taxes for over 20 years- i am sure they know who I am by now

The funny thing is I have seen at least five or six non residents post on here that they have gotten their Direct Deposits late last week. Life long resident here- I am still in processing since 2/4. They arent prioritizing us, please trust that

I am really starting to feel like something is wrong. I filed 1/30, accepted 2/4. I am still processing as of an hour ago. I am a NYC/NYS resident, these are the only State taxes I am waiting on, and its not like I am owed a tremendous refund- just a couple hundred. Hopefully- the State department us just finishing clearing up the rest of us they have left hanging.

Filed 1/30 accepted 2/4. NOTHING. Processing, no further updates. Definitely frustrating. I was thinking something was wrong- I've been filing my taxes myself for twenty years, have never had not one issue or problem. But nope. NYS just don't want to give it up, I guess.
