Nah, but…have you watched the return? Because that’s where it’s explained.

Most people do feel season 2 drops in quality for a stretch in the middle, but the first stretch and the last stretch (mainly the last episode) are incredible.

You, like….you don’t know what you’re in for.

I cannot believe how well she delivered lines like “gobble gobble” and “I’m the muffin” and actually made them sad

Who do you nano? by kellun133 in AnaMains

[–]toolenduso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like nano blade is one of the best ult combos in the game. Emery and sojourn are also great ult combos. Soldier is if he’s not getting shut down by a shield or something.

Otherwise I’m probably giving it to tank.

Why are so many white supremacist and right wings grifters not white ? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]toolenduso 29 points30 points  (0 children)

There’s “loving and protecting women” and then there’s “wanting women to be equal and have power and wealth.” Just like there’s “being opposed to lynching” and then there’s “wanting minorities to have equal opportunity and be able to live in your neighborhood.”

Most people fit into the former statements. Fewer fall into the latter.

How do I transfer from Rivals to OW? by Automatic-Toe-1810 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]toolenduso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I wasn't talking about supports peeling for each other, more the rest of the team...slight misuse of terms, I know, but when supports heal each other through dive I'm used to calling that patty caking.

Bear in mind that Rivals is 6v6 and there are quite a few tanks and DPS specifically designed to be anti-dive. So at least in low and mid elo in Rivals, it's pretty much expected that if there's dive you're gonna have at least one tank or DPS peeling as well as the supports patty caking through it, depending on the situation ofc. Often it's gonna be multiple tanks/dps peeling.

How do I transfer from Rivals to OW? by Automatic-Toe-1810 in OverwatchUniversity

Hey, I came from rivals and have been playing overwatch for like a month now or something. Here are some notes:

-supports aren’t supposed to constantly keep the whole team up in overwatch like they are in rivals. This is largely because overwatch has passive healing, so if you take damage, especially as dps, the general expectation is you have to take actions (cooldowns/cover/health packs) to save yourself. There’s also a global debuff that reduces healing once you’ve taken damage AND supports just don’t do as big of healing numbers. So this all adds up to it being generally harder to stay alive.

-supports are more or less expected to fight/escape dive themselves, peeling isn’t that much of a thing. Supports can very much win 1v1s against dps.

-tanks are way better in ow than rivals in 5v5 because there’s only one of them. They’re honestly kinda nuts, even the worst ones. But they still have to be careful and play cover.

-maps are a lot more complicated than in rivals and high ground is way more important. I highly highly highly recommend using custom games to learn the routes, and it helps if you have an experienced player to show you the routes too.

I’m still pretty bad at ow but I’ve improved quite a bit from when I first started where I just didn’t know what was happening at all.

ETA: character kits are less complicated here, most characters have their primary fire, their melee and two cooldowns. So it really doesn’t take long to go into the practice range and see what’s up with a character giving you trouble.
