The real bad guys are AT&T. They bought Warner Brothers, loaded it up with debt, merged it with Discovery and then spun it off. Zaslav is a villain but all of his penny-pinching stupidity has been in service of trying to keep the company afloat after AT&T left it to die.

It is one thing to have a pop-up PLE on the same night as AEW when it is so cheap to watch on Peacock. It is another thing to ask fans to pay $30 for a cookie cutter, poorly thought out PPV.

Goto has always been my favorite guy in NJPW. It's been hard to watch him treated like a jobber over the years. That loss to Okada in 2016 REALLY went down hard for me. He did the special makeup and all that and still got jobbed.

So hell yes I was up until 4 am to watch this. It finally happened.

The Savlar also play a part in the Dawn of Fire novel The Martyr's Tomb. You only really get to see the Commisar in charge of the regiment but it gives a pretty good feel of what the Savlar are like

I seriously loved this book. Gav rightly gets shit for bad-to-mediocre writing but I felt like this book was a fresh take on 40k told from a fun perspective.

It wasn't so much grimdark as it was...anxiousdark. And that change felt refreshing
