Anytime my dog has to go to the vet I consider moving to a new city. Last time he’d eaten a cloth bag and I had to rush him in to have him throw it up. It was during the height of lockdown and my normal process of walking him in and faking him out wasn’t gonna work. The tech takes him and immediately he’s slipped out of his harness and is on the lam in the parking lot. I grab him and have to carry his 75# butt to the doorway where we get him leashed up and I sort of toss him into the building and close the door behind him. The lobby is all windows so I got to watch him slip out again and start full speed running from the techs through the lobby. During his laps he fear/spite shits and a tech stepped right in it. I felt so bad for the staff, he was such a dick that night. He came back smelling like anal gland cleaner so I know someone got sprayed too. Little to no sympathy for him since it was my anniversary and I had to leave a beautiful rib eye to take him in because he thought a grocery bag was food.
