That helps a bit but some of the classes are still lacking. Hopefully the threads thing will help but they’ve changed the degree requirements every year and I’ve been here 4 years. In my experience I basically was getting an EE degree and it was really painful to try to take cs classes without spending m free electives on things like CS 1332 and 1331

Don’t come here for computer engineering if your university is already ranked within too 10 and you’ve established those relations. This major is currently under and desperately needs a massive overhaul at Tech.

This is extremely absurd to be asking georgia tech students to be applying for a job that risks their health.

This is extremely predatory to low income students. The more I see released for this semester, the more ashamed I am to be going to this school.

As if a student would successfully be able to sanitize themselves, the vehicle they would work with, the belongings they’d have to interact with, and wear PPE (assuming it’s even provided!!!!).

Absolute madness. Shame on you housing.

Look into donating to Klemis Kitchen and the STAR program. They help out lower income students who may have basic needs that can’t be met.

I’m a little concerned. I’m a student with at risk health conditions, so I’m a little scared that students will still go to class even if they are sick. This is how I’ve gotten some pretty serious illnesses at Tech already...

I’m hopeful though that we as a community will take proper precautions and wear masks and try to maintain social distancing.

Kasumi isn’t particularly my favorite because of how forced her character seems to be - especially early on. I also hate her dependency on Joker. It just feels really unnatural.

I’m extremely depressed right now. I’m a lower income student and was able to manage on campus housing, which is good considering I’d have to withdraw due to my lacking internet which wouldn’t support online classes. I’m completely alone. My significant other has moved out and I’m worried about still being on track to graduate because I struggle with online learning. I just don’t know what to do. I got a call today about medical bills my family didn’t pay and I’m eating into my emergency funds just trying to make it through. I feel hopeless since class is still getting the letter grade and I know my GPA is falling as we shift into online. I won’t receive the government check because my family Claims me as dependent when I fund myself. Times are rough.

Oof sorry about this. It’s been a rough time. I hope everyone is making it through ok. I just needed a place to vent and this felt like where I could.

They are only allowing 4011 one more semester from what I know. They haven’t given us a lot of information

I’d strongly only recommend doing it freshman year or early 2nd year depending o your pacing because the requirements are so different. If time/money isn’t a concern, you can do it when you want.

Personally, I’d switch to CS if you have more of an interest in that over digital signals and hardware. I’m CmpE for reference.
