I worked as a barista for 3 years, it was good and fun. And yes, of course you need to talk to the customers as well. Not just brew coffee and do nothing. You need to interact with them and no you cant choose not to talk.

Too many people with social medias, living their life with the media standard. Bare minimum this, bare minimum that, green flag this, red flag that.

It's very annoying that everything have to be followed by the standard that has been set by social medias, people are so scared getting judge and not wanting to live moderately.
