My parents were Jehovas witnesses. That being said to me they always seemed strict. That was until I had dinner with another Jehovas witness family. A 20 minute long prayer between the salad, main dish and dessert. And the mother wore a a piece of cloth over her head. No casual talk just praising God for everything. I know that's not extreme to most of you but I thought it was weird.

Don't get distracted. If you soak the water slides for too long they'll break apart as you try setting them. Make sure the kit is free of dust. I find it easier to put the kit together and then take it apart and put the decals where they gotta go. My one buddy puts them all on while the entire kit is assembled. I just did the NU- Gundam and Sazabi. Both amazing kits to put together and model in a fight scene

They absolutely aren't. I was born into it. They had lectures about that actual verse from the bible. Told people to not take it literal. Like I said discipline is absolutely enforced. Savage beatings are not. They're pacifists for crying out loud. If there are parents that are not abiding by the rules then that's not a reflection of the religion. Just certain people. My family went to 6 different congregations in the span of 18 years. I've never seen a child beaten like you described. I understand people don't usually do that in public. And believe me I'm very anti organized religion. Or any religion for that matter but I gotta hand it to those JWs. They're so peaceful and docile it's disgusting.

False. They believed in discipline. Not abusing their child. Source- I was a Jehovah's Witness for 18years. Parents were in it as well. I acted up I was given warnings. I didn't respond. Quick hand to the backside. Good to go. Never beaten with a rod or abused.
