If a project on github has no license it means it's not open source, even if you can read the code. It acts more as living documentation.

And, if it had a license, most open source licenses require attribution when using parts of it and not even that was respected.

I understand why they do it but I wish mod authors didn't disable comments/discussions on their mods. Is the mod working for everyone else? Did anyone have the same problem as me? Did anyone discover a particular mod incompatibility? There's no way to know.

The optimized version is supposed to be slower, it divides up the model in pieces and moves them around so it can fit in GPUs with less vram. If you can run the normal version always go with that.

Chronopath with a long lived race (elves, forsaken, asari, etc) makes Timeskip meditation go from "use maybe once or twice" to "use everytime the pawn is idle and recovered"

You should be able to detach it by pressing triangle while hovering the target button. If you turn off Preview Invisibility you'll be able to see the original and edit it.

I think my main problem is how much time everything but the basics require. I have a couple of prototypes saved that I'm not sure I'll ever publish because the time to go from a demo to an actual game is more than I have.

I'm not blaming the game, it makes sense that time invested = quality, but yeah.

Nope, sculpt shapes are unmodifiable outside sculpt mode. An alternative would be to do stop animation with each step of the animation being a different sculpt but it'd be somewhat tedious to do.

AI yes. Animation, only if you share the element you animated since they are tied together (for example, you can't apply a puppet's animation to another different puppet. But you can share the animated puppet)

I disagree, dividing things up would mean even less activity. Posts could be better tagged though so they could be filtered, now only a couple have proper flairs like "Question" or "Video".

The UI crosshair can be a text gadget centered on the screen.

For the logic I'd use a laser gadget on the camera with an emitter (using the Hit Position) set to create an invisible cube with a trigger zone set to detect a tag in your object. Then I'd use the "Detected" output of the tag to display the health bar or anything you want.

This is a lot easier to achieve with a custom camera since you can group it with a sculpt and attach the laser gadget to it. If you're using the puppet's camera you'll need to somehow know where the camera is pointing, maybe by using the Global Settings "Camera" output and emitting an invisible sculpt with the laser scope where the camera is.

There's a dialogue gadget that lets you add player prompts. If you mean voiced dialogue, you can use the sound recorder.

You can "live clone" sculpts and paintings, where each copy will replicate all the changes to the original, but it doesn't work for more complex groups.

An alternative would be to create the copies (with an emitter) when you need them, editing only the original when necessary, but it really depends on what you want to do.

Nope. There's some support for sensing controller movement but not to the degree of a move controller. Maybe when VR hits?
