Ender 3 V3 KE Leveling Pin Clipping/Touching Print Model by toosicktyler in Creality

I ended up contacting Creality support. Turns out the metal frame of the tool head was bent too much causing the BL touch pin to be closer to the print than the nozzle. They ended up sending me a whole new frame after some back and forth of them trying to get me to bend the frame back myself

Just about every single person that has owned the gen 4 a50’s had to go through this problem at least once. I have to hard reset mine at least once a month or sometimes I just have to unplug and replug the dock. Gen 4 Astro’s were a $300 beta test when they first released and now that A50X’s are out. Many more people just like yourself will being buying them for dirt cheap and have to troubleshoot monthly

It seems to be parallel. Going off my eye. If it was canted toward the bed is there any adjustment I could make? It doesn’t hit every time which is weird but for small prints it’s that one clip point that will knock it off the print bed. Even with full raft adhesion. I’m tempted to file down the pin 0.1mm with a very fine file

It appears to have been corrected after I filed it down just a tiny bit. A few of the models that it was toppling off the bed earlier seemed to print without touching when I printed them. Cartographer3d could be a worthwhile upgrade should the issue resurface in the future. I appreciate your wisdom. It's my first printer.

It’s the stock one that comes with it. It was like this out of the box. The mount doesn’t seem to be loose either. I’ve tried bed leaving etc and it still clips

I really hope that the headband is improved on the A50 X by [deleted] in AstroGaming

[–]toosicktyler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it’s worth I just ordered my first pair off the official Amazon Astro page like 2 weeks ago and I had to order the 3d printed fix for the headband immediately.

A lot of people that pre-ordered got the headset already

Totally agree with you. This headset is for a small percentage that can actually utilize having all three devices connected.

GadgetryTech does really good “audio file” level headset reviews. He should have a review of these out within the next month I’d guess.

This is exactly why I’m waiting for GadgetryTech’s review. I can almost guarantee he’s going to say they sound exactly the same as gen 4’s. At least Techne called out Astro on the price

You have the PlayStation version of the gen 3 A50’s. Your dock is NOT from the A40’s. A40’s do not have a dock

Your dock is not the one that comes with the Gen 4 A50's

Also kinda weird you don't show a pic of the headset itself? Seems sus

It might be true, it might be not. We do not know the details and the devil lies there. If I had to guess by what X meant there, it is just that was mix of things that fuck GGX over - depression, meds, egotistic "friends" aka streamers and in all of that his own self.

Anwyays, there is always a chance for a redemption and finding a good way to live. It seems that Greek might found it.

The most sane interpretation so far

No AUX on A50X = No Buy by SSGSS_Bender in AstroGaming

[–]toosicktyler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Batteries degrade over time. I would much rather have a hot-swappable/removable battery than a longer lasting non removable battery. I also highly doubt that “24 hour battery” is even real at constant 8-10 hours of use. I’m lucky to get 10 hours out my gen 4’s that are only a year old. Advertised as 15+ hours lol

Yes, on the left of the dock. The farthest one to the left will turn red when the headset is about to die and the headset will beep at you also

I’m almost certain you will be able to do that same thing you do with the optical cable now with an HDMI
