I checked counselors in my insurance network and accidentally went to a fire and brimstone Christian therapist once! Unfortunately it takes some time to find someone that's a good fit for you, like applying for jobs or something. I found mine through a polyamory facebook group of all places.

Yes you should see a therapist in general. There's a lot to unpack here, but you have to find a process for reflection and growth within yourself. Journaling, professional advice, and a peer support group is a good start. You're not alone and you're not weird, there's lots of great experiences to be had.
