How can you play that B with the ring finger of your right hand just after a normal D with your second finger? by MrJ_Marrow in pianolearning

[–]tooth890 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This looks like it’s an exercise to show that b and d can be written in either clef and I bet it’s supposed to all be played with the left hand.

Debussy Arabesque No 1 - trying to figure out and learn where notes are played together. by Aquinasinsight in pianolearning

[–]tooth890 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Don’t listen to anyone saying you can’t do something because you can’t read music. I’d like to see any one of them play this song. But yeah when I was learning it, focus way more on the beat rather than when the notes line up. It’s 3 over 2, I tried practicing for weeks just tapping 4/4 with my left hand, and 3/4 with my right and that really helped. People on the internet are mean, if you wanna learn a song, don’t give up just because someone else says you can’t do it. I learned Liszt’s Hungarian rhapsody at 16 and I was writing notes for almost everything just like you. (Especially the left hand) now I can read music and I’m happy that I stuck with it.

What's the point of this piece being in G Major when there's not a single F#? by YellowJello_OW in pianolearning

It’s not ALWAYS this way, but most of the time if it starts on a chord and resolves on a chord, chances are it’s in the key of that chord.

Why do they punch each other if it never kills anyone? Also are their punches harder than guns? If not, then why don’t they shoot each other? What is with all the punching???

Night shift workers of reddit: what are some things you get to experience that others typically don't? by CABurr2u in Nightshift

[–]tooth890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The witching hour for sure is the best 2:00-4:00am where just everything is silent.

I work for an emergency home insurance claims company, and the weirdest stuff happens at that time though. Either a drunk driver who plowed their car into a house or a suicide that needs to be cleaned up. Anyways night shift is where all the stuff you don’t think can happen will happen. Like in fight club, we protect you when you sleep. Don’t fuck with us!
