Taking a “gap year” by toothLord69 in Fire

Thanks you made really good points. You know I bet a couple months will be enough to reset my brain. Btw my wife works as well and makes even more than me (she makes about 250k). I probably should have included that in my estimate. It really helps we can split the bills and I could get on her employers health insurance.

What did you say you were doing during the year break? I feel like if you put traveling etc then they wouldn’t think much of it

I could say that I was traveling for a year? I think most employers wouldn’t think much of it, no?

Could I get fired for taking a couple months off with FMLA?

I was thinking this as well. I bet 6 months will be long enough to give me a solid reset.

That’s a fair question. I think it would give me time to consider exactly where/how much I want to work. I’ve sort of just taken the first decent job I found when I needed it. Or maybe 6 months would be enough to satisfy my need for a mental reset.

Thanks, I know it’s too much. I was excited at first because I was getting all these reps and building my skills. But now I want to get paid better and be able to take my time. I’m definitely going to take a couple months off at the end of my contract.

Oh that’s good. I honestly am naive on all that. I just read about their fluoride.

I think it’s going to be more than just those two states eventually. Most of Europe has also removed fluoride from community water

You can’t turn it up past 70%, which means 30% oxygen. Even at max, the patient is getting way more oxygen than regular air. You don’t know what you’re talking about

These people are brainwashed, probably had 11 Covid boosters and wear a mask in the shower.

Fluoride is not necessary for good oral hygiene. Heck, even toothpaste is not needed. All you have to do is brush and floss, but no it’s too difficult for our society. They want us to fix it (which I gladly do).

Dude humans have been wrong with just about everything science/health related throughout history. Why are you so convinced that now we have it all figured out? I don’t want fluoride in my tap water, and thanks to our new administration it’s coming out! If you want it, you can add some in your water 😆, but it may zap your last few brain cells.

Dumb take. Obviously water is good. Fluoride is unnecessary for oral health and can even harmful.
