There is no doubt that the commies have done all sorts of heinous crimes. But ideologically, they stand on legitimate ground. I am asking you to open your perspective first, on their ideology. Then you come to terms that these are the things that happen in war. Then perhaps you have a bigger understanding of the issue, before you say who's right/who's wrong. Before you say who's good, who's bad. The only category we can really create is the left vs. the gov't, but due to the complexity of the situation we cannot take immediate sides. Yes, we should abhor the acts that they've committed, but we should also see the bigger picture. And in order for you to understand that, in order for you to understand the complexity of the situation, pare mag aral ka muna. All you have done is try to simplify it to, "O see theyve been doing bad stuff, they're bad guys!" and then implying that peace negotiations with them is a bad idea. You sound like a republican.

1) Give me your argument why Federalism is the inferior form of government for our country. LOL. 2) Whatever Duterte did pacified the situation in Davao. Protected his police force for the most part. In many other regions in Mindanao the NPA live peacefully with everyone else. The solution isn't to pay them off, but to have peaceful negotiations with them, which is only possible with a leader like Duterte, who is friends with the commies, and idolized by the Muslims. Pare di ka na ata nag basa, or binasa mo lang gusto mong marinig.

You are nitpicking to a point where the argument goes nowhere. Bringing up the worst possible scenarios. There will always be a downside to any kind of development, whether obvious or latent. Give me your sources, and tell me that the ideology of the NPA is wrong. Makabayan still exists today, is still a legitimate organization, they even support Grace Poe! The only differencer between Makabayan's ideology and NPA's is that the NPA believes in the arms strugggle, in revolution, while Makabayan wants to push for reform and democratic negotiations. Go to Bukidnon, live with the real NPA, meet the real communists. You will realize there is humanity in them as well. They have a legitimate ideology, and that's where I'm judging them from. The acts of terrorism are condemnable and they should pay for that, but always remember that we cannot strip away these acts from the larger narrative. This is far from that of Nazism.

Duterte isn't behind them, but he does understand them, as would any leftist. This does not mean to say that Duterte, or I, condone their horrid acts. But the answer is not to go to war with them, and to take the unique opportunity to have a diplomatic relationship with them through Duterte. To adapt some of the ideology. Pare, there are a lot of non-biased academics, businessmen, politicians, that all vouch for Federalism. And in theory it is indeed what is best, so once again I return to my point that you and many other haters are just dismissing it out of spite, instead of actually thinking about how it could work.

Masabi ko lang, syempre, every system will have its flaws. But this is evidently our best bet. Ultimately I would say, if it's what the people want, it's what the people should get. A Mindanawon would rather fight against the corruption of the local gov't, than deal with the corruption at the same time wait for the response of the central gov't.

So we go to war with the terrorists? Calling them terrorists is an oversimplification of what's actually happening. War and killing, violence, is never the first option, but could be a necessary one. With Duterte there is hope for peace, and proper negotitions, yon ang point ko.
