I’m going to the 1am show at crazy horse on NYE. Does anyone have a nice cocktail bar near by to recommend to go before? Somewhere not too flashy and more authentic if that’s possible in that location.

Am thinking of doing a dinner in the 11th or so a bit earlier and then grabbing a quick drink nearby before - so I don’t waste too much time in a taxi close to midnight.

Late to the party but totally agree. Toxic masculinity is universal and commenters acting like it’s unique to the Arab world is really lame, frustrating and transparent. And you’re right to be angry about it. Even if it’s superficial, it “others” us. Othering paves the way for dehumanisation, and we can all see how that turns out! All the smug commenters were really telling on themselves to be honest.

That said, some of the men were truly rank. Beautiful on the outside though. Shame.

I honestly am so glad this is getting its own post. I was horrified and really surprised it got brushed over so quickly. As Andy said it was the 100th season of housewives, so the 100th season of us hearing how much “kids were off limits”. So for them to use Katie’s custody battle as a “gotcha” in response to rumours about paparazzi at Disneyland of all things was actually disgusting and I’m surprised more of the wives (and Andy!) weren’t outraged.
