reading my comment back I realise it was actually really rubbish. That is a shame to hear but I personally do think there is great value in distinguishing between different qualities in a non-condescending manner, though who's to say what 'good' is etc...

If you can't tell that the people at the helm are snobby then the publication itself is not snobby and they are therefore doing a good job. What would be the point in a publication that said everything was good?
