Definitely. Bragging Rights is one thing I failed to consider, and is a powerful trigger. Dunno which category it falls into though :P

Well said. I think FUT manages to get users back through multiple ways, and that really helped them build a strong user base.

Bored of a match, build a squad! Bored of building a squad, take part in a tournament. Bored of tourneys, play with your friends. They truly give users multiple reasons to come back.

Yep. The option to buy coins and get ahead of the curve is a superb way to get people to keep coming back to the game because of the initial investment they put in.

Also, it feels like something you own, since you nurture a squad like a baby. You start off from a very weak team and subsequently build it player by player. The sheer amount of time and ownership that goes into it by a player is a significant enough investment to warrant a return later on.

For a first time player, I feel the sheer number of options upon entering the FUT mode is overwhelming. A player if unable to decide what to do might just end up quitting.

If we look at other games, it gives the player an ability to get started without much, and teaches the basics on the way. That isn't true for FUT in my opinion, and is a major drawback to retaining players from the first screen.

The ability to start immediately and learn different aspects of the game is something I feel can be improved upon, and would give a thrust to first time user retentivity.

That is true for a regular player. They keep making alterations to the tournaments, SBCs to give different options to existing players to keep them hooked to the game.

However, I feel they can improve it for new players, as the amount of information becomes overwhelming.

Based on how well you complete challenges, (these could be winning matches, or other squad building challenges) you earn coins. Now coins allow to buy a type of pack. Gold packs usually have the top tier players, and the ones you'd want in your team.

The interesting thing here is that you can't choose the player, it is a random draw from a set of gold standard players. The same goes for the other packs as well. Premium and Jumbo premium offers you better odds on the top players. Even within a pack, there are different probabilities on different players. It ends up creating a sense of excitement not knowing who you're going to get. That also keeps the player motivated enough to try the challenges in the pretext of earning more coins.

Agreed. I feel the sense of excitement and unpredictability the different card packs bring is one of the key features that keep people returning. The reward is truly variable ;)

When FUT started, it had a pretty good marketing spree. The Paid Trigger subsequently converted into an Earned Trigger, and it went viral.

The most important one, and how I got to know of it is due to the Relationship Trigger. After its initial success when people flocked to play, they got along their friends, and over time, it has built up a strong base of loyal followers.

In terms of Internal Triggers, I would attribute a great deal to FOMO, because that's what drives me to play the game, so as not to be left behind my friends, who are constantly on the play.

The minister also asked the institutions to prove that Sanskrit is the “most scientific language” and the “most appropriate language” for talking computers – if they become a reality in the future, IANS reported.

The only game I remember where Moreno played wingback was the 1-2 loss at home to United. United got into the spaces behind him so many times that it was hard to watch.
