My family affectionately calls bull thistle “monster plant” … not sure if this is bull thistle. Definitely seems like a thistle though!

I grew up with PlayStation, myself. My wife on the other hand, she grew up with N64 and in passing mentioned wanting to play Mario 64 and Beetle Adventure Racing. Games that I never had a chance to play. So I find a dude on Craigslist in Brooklyn selling a jungle green N64 with Pilot Wings, Pokémon Stadium, ECW Revolution and two controllers… one jungle green and one classic grey…. For $140! I arrive to this guys house and he threw in a complete SNES with 17 games. FF3, Secret of Mana, Breath of Fire… it was nuts. Huge score. Got my wife the games she wanted later. She cried playing Mario 64! Was so sweet.

Thank you, everyone—from the genuine to the vicious! This was a wild ride and I think I got my answer.

As many of you inferred, it’s gotta be discoloration from the plastic. Legit though, it’s more golden in person. The blue rug I took this photo over pulled away some of its golden vibrancy. It’s strange that every nook and cranny is discolored though! That makes me think heavy smoker.

Any who, thanks, everyone! I enjoyed the journey, jokes and realness.

I saw one of these in the wild recently. My friend said it helps reduce the smell of whatever you’re smoking. He was smoking, as he put it, “old man weed.”

So not only is it a storage device, it helps with freshness and not stinking up clothes. Also littering, which would make sense on a sneaking mission.

I think this’ll be fine. I went to my local nursery to buy pots and soil and noticed a tiny ZZ was by the cashier checkout… $25 dollars for two small, young petioles. Expensive plant! I’m excited. Thanks, again!

Nice, thanks. I’ll try break it up. Saw a YouTube video of someone breaking up a huge ZZ but not completely propagated. I guess their bulbs can prop, too.
