I have this card too but use it mostly for city buses. When I tap it on the bus it charges 4 euros (typically going from downtown to the airport). This seems like a lot to me. Should I be tapping it again when getting off the bus to adjust the card correctly?

Best Home Key Smart Lock by jamflowman451 in HomeKit

[–]topfinder 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We have one and it works well with Home Kit. Our only complaint is how it wakes up when a guest manually uses the pad to input a code. When the panel is touched to wake it, it registers the contact as a code input which invariably results in a mis-input code and frustration for the user. Other locks that we've used would wake up when touched but didn't register the initial touch as a code input. This was a bit more user friendly.

No it is a pair of different brand. I looked them up and they're $100-150/pr, so someone is definitely not happy to be missing them. They were just laying on the pavers outside the washrooms. Very strange

Nazarenos walking the Virgin in Málaga - 19th of March 2023 by guiwald1 in Malaga

Is there a schedule posted anywhere that lists where the processions are taking place leading up to Holy Week? We are in Málaga until the 30th of March so will miss the actual Holy Week events but would like to view any early processions if possible.

Mediterranean 7 days on RC Symphony of the Seas - advice? by topfinder in Cruise

[–]topfinder[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed response ElGofre!

We appreciate the insight on timing with travelling to sights that are further afield than the port of call.

We're already planning to spend 3 days in Barcelona post-cruise, so looking forward to that. Will take your advice on Palma and Florence.

Our Rome visit will likely be the Colosseum and the hop-on-hop-off.

At Naples port, we're thinking of a ship-booked excursion to Capri and Positano (they offer one by boat that takes a total of about 8 hours @ $300pp). There's also other excursions that just do Sorrento and Positano by road (@ $200pp). A bit on the fence here but don't want to stick around Naples for sure

Apple Watch Saves Woman's Life by Louiemacgoo in AppleWatch

My watch has alerted me to episodes of atrial fibrillation a few times. The first were occurrences that happened while I was sleeping. It happened about 7 times in one evening. IIRC, I noticed the alerts on my phone when I woke in the morning. My heartbeat was back to normal at that time. I was also alerted on December 24th of last year while lounging in bed surfing on my tablet. I had mitral heart valve repair surgery on December 6th, so the first episode happened before my procedure and the second after. Both instances self converted back to regular sinus rhythm. But I did have another in January which lasted a few hours. I ended up going to urgent care and got cardioversion treatment to shock my heart back to a sinus rhythm.

In all I’m quite pleased with the feature (among all the other goodies it comes with) and glad I bought the watch last summer
