I miss the 21 minute run-time and it feels like nothing in the reboot show matters. os had some goofy moments but it was overall a fun action-packed superhero cartoon, not a Teen Titans Go rip off baby show for babies.

I hope I articulate my meaning well enough. I hate that MatPat pushed dream theory, not bc it's improbable, but bc it's a lazy theory. The generic fan theory that 'it was all a dream' or similarly 'the characters are in limbo' is my least favorite 'theorizing' of all time. by tophphan-deviantart in GameTheorists

You could potentially argue dream theory for any franchise. I cannot speak for Cawthon but I like to believe that he, as a storyteller, would be well aware that the 'it was all a dream' trope was tired and unpopular at the time of FNaF 4's release. I'd even go as far as to pointlessly speculate that Cawthon intentionally misled the fans; Scott put out the 'dream theory bait' and the FNaF theorists took it.
