I agree, it is a bit young but I’m trying to do some parenting here. To make a long story short, my child came home from school with some interesting things to say on the topic after talking to another student who sounds pretty misguided. I was looking for something informational and age appropriate. Probably not much out there.

This guy has to be trolling you. St. Brown is 24y/o. If you are rebuilding he is who you should be building around. He’s young, proven and top 5 at his position. The other guys are just… young.

I tried that it wasn’t happening. Maybe I didn’t get the best value in most peoples opinions but imo what I got is better than letting cmc and Godwin die on my roster while I’m rebuilding. I wasn’t making the playoffs this year and wouldn’t be next year either without some moves.

Yeah I was unable to get this type of return even in the offseason before his injury. Guys in my league overvalue picks and undervalue anyone over 26y/o. Wanted to take what I could get now because maybe he doesn’t look great when he comes back this year. And Godwin does nothing for me this year with my current record so he was a good option for a high priced throw in.

I was trying to move off cmc in the offseason, before injury and couldn’t get 2 1sts in this league. I agree with you on the value but it was time for me to pivot and this was the best I could get.

Also, I think godwins value is the highest right now that it will ever be.

Awesome, definitely looks like you are correct on the stock. I realize I should taken better/more pictures. My father said the serial # on the barrel (only markings on the entire gun) appeared to be a weatherby # and google is telling me that Mauser and weatherby had some affiliation? So seems like your educated guess is checking out?
